Live sets are marathons of seemingly random tidbits of rock and roll history. These sets are billed as “Retro Acoustic Rock” but he doesn’t shy away from new music, including Tyler Childers, Ghost and Billy Strings. Fleeger consistently entertains with songs everyone knows but not every plays. He began issuing notable recordings in 1998, with the release of his debut “Perpetual Care”. This was followed by numerous well received recordings from his bands Entity, Bad Light Project, The Hidden Agendas, and Ron Fleeger & The Stranger, the latter of which he won *album of the year for WVIA, 2009 on the Bus Stop Radio for their “Lucky 7s” album. He has recorded and worked with a number of local legends including The Badlees, Johnny J Blair, Tim Breon, Richard Rupert, and many more
He also performs regularly in the acoustic improv trio The Whiskey Lips.
Ron is set to release his newest studio recordings later this year which he’s currently recording at BlackBerry Alley in Selinsgrove from his new band “FLEEGER”
